Skechers for Work Men's Conroe Searcy Slip Resistant Work Shoes - Non-Slip Safety Shoes for Restaurant, Kitchen, Hospital & Construction Workers

The wide width is really wide! Skechers run wide already and they used to be pretty good quality back in the day. When they went to the crappy memory foam insoles that's when I've noticed their quality of their shoes went downhill too. Their regular sneakers are still ok for occasional wear but I highly suggest if you want a good work shoe/boot look elsewhere. I bought these expecting them to last at least through the summer season but they really didn't. I'm a delivery driver so I'm stopping around 70-80 times a day running packages up to houses so I do have abnormally high wear and traffic on my feet but these started breaking down after a couple few months. I immediately (right after I bought them) changed out the crappy memory foam insoles with some others which ended up really messing up my feet but that's in another review altogether. The backs of the shoes around the heel started breaking down and falling apart after a couple months. Other areas inside the shoe also started breaking down and falling apart too. The outside of the shoe seems to be holding up fairly well as they still look decent but because they are literally falling apart from the inside out I highly suggest to look elsewhere for a good work shoe. I'm personally going back to Keens they are expensive but you truly get a good quality shoe/boot and they don't fall apart. I've had my first pair for over a year and a half now with daily use for a good year and they haven't broke down at all inside (I also replaced the insoles immediately after buying them so not sure on their factory insoles). I recently just put the factory insoles in another pair of shoes though so we'll see. The outside has a lot of wear but that's because I worked in a factory dealing with a lot of raw metal so they got cut and scrapped up a lot but they are still in good shape even with the scraps and cut marks which aren't all the way through so they use quality leather and materials unlike these Skechers. If your looking for a cheap option that will last less than 6 months then these will work but if you want something that will last I highly suggest to look elsewhere. Myself I'm sticking with Keens from now on for work shoes/boots. I might still stick with Skechers for my everyday shoes though cause they are cheap and fit nicely. I just hope they step their game back up and start using higher quality materials again and get rid of the crappy memory foam insoles.Just as I expected but it definitely isn't lightweight. It does feel nice. Hoping this will help last few months before wearing down inside. I hate when that happens to us working in the warehouse. Wish me luck! =)Update: they're falling apart inside where your Achilles rubs against the fabric. They're not that quality enough to last but I think it's me. Just gotta find a pair for very cheap then good. I'd say they're good for 3 to 5 months tops.Update 2: I bought grey pair for 29 bucks so am waiting to get them then we will see if it is the same from the first purchase.I'm hoping it will be better but in some way I hate getting big toe holes from my socks rubbing againstthe cap inside the shoes at the front. it BLOWS but i guess that is how it is??Well I bought these shoes for one purpose which they do exactly what I need them to do. I work with circuit boards, soldering small and big connectors on panels. Everyday everyone must wear esd straps and test to make sure you pass. Anyways I dont like wearing the straps so I bought these. I've had them probably since February this year and so far they have worked fine.My dislikes about these shoes are how big they look.. It's like wearing boats on your feet. My buddy is always laughing at me, telling me how ugly they are. Another thing I dont like about these boats are how uncomfortable they are to wear for 8 hours, five days a week... It definitely took some getting used to. Other than that they pass for my esd test everyday...Best safety shoes.. period.Shoes are both tough and comfortable. Has very good traction through slippery floors and are surprisingly light for having a aloy toe insert.I hate narrow safety tow shoes that feel like I can't move my toes. I ordered these in a wide and they are ultra comfortable. They are much lighter with the aluminum alloy toe than my previous pair of Skechers which had steel toes. Much improved over what was available a year ago. Several people have commented about how they look. El casquillo o steel toe es de aleación metálica. Muy recomendables.
